Get Amongst.

Terms

The Simple Version

Get Amongst connects to Xero to show your cash balance and estimated GST, send weekly summaries, and remind you before GST payments are due.

The figures depend on what’s recorded in Xero. Keep your books reconciled and check your actual GST return before filing or paying. We don’t file returns, make tax payments or provide financial advice.

You get a 14-day free trial without a card. If you choose to subscribe, it’s $9 NZD plus GST per month per organisation. You can cancel at any time.

1. About these terms

Get Amongst is operated by 9four Limited, trading as Get Amongst (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By using Get Amongst, you agree to these terms. If you connect an organisation on someone else’s behalf, you confirm you have authority to do so and to accept these terms for them.

2. Connecting to Xero

You authorise us to access the Xero data needed to provide your reports, estimates and emails. We do not alter your accounting records in Xero.

You must have permission to access each organisation you connect. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and telling us if you suspect unauthorised access.

You can disconnect an organisation through Get Amongst or revoke its connection in Xero. Revoking access in Xero alone does not cancel your subscription. Manage billing through Get Amongst or contact us.

3. Reports and GST estimates

Get Amongst provides information, not financial, accounting, tax or legal advice.

Our figures reflect the records available from Xero at the time shown. Missing, incorrectly coded or unreconciled transactions can affect them. Estimates may change when records are added or corrected. A successful refresh does not mean your books are reconciled.

“Cash after estimated GST” is your reported cash balance less the GST estimate shown. It does not allow for bills, wages, other taxes or other commitments, and is not a measure of how much you can safely spend.

GST estimates are not filed returns or confirmation of the amount you must pay. You remain responsible for checking your records, filing correct returns and paying tax on time, including if an email is delayed or not received.

4. Free trial

Your 14-day trial starts when your first report is successfully produced. No payment card is required to start.

Organisations added during your trial share the same expiry date. Adding or reconnecting an organisation does not restart the trial. An organisation that has already used a trial is not eligible for another through a different account.

We only charge you after you expressly agree to a paid subscription. If you subscribe during an eligible trial, your first subscription charge is due when that trial ends.

5. Subscriptions and payment

The subscription costs $9 NZD plus GST per month per organisation, billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Your organisation count, applicable GST and total are shown before you subscribe.

By subscribing, you authorise recurring payments using your selected payment method until cancellation takes effect.

Adding an organisation to a paid subscription increases your subscription charge. Any charge for the remaining part of the current billing period is shown for confirmation.

Removing an organisation reduces your charges from the next renewal. We do not provide credits or refunds for unused parts of a billing period simply because you remove an organisation or cancel. This does not affect any refund rights you have under applicable law.

Reconnecting the same organisation within a period already paid for does not result in a second charge for that same period.

6. Cancellation, expiry and failed payments

You can cancel through the billing settings in Get Amongst or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals, and paid access continues until the end of your current billing period. Removing your last organisation also stops future subscription renewal charges.

If your trial ends without a subscription, reports, syncing and emails stop. You can still sign in to subscribe.

If a payment fails, we will notify you and may retry payment. Access may be paused if payment remains outstanding.

After seven days without an active trial or paid entitlement, we may disconnect your Xero organisations. We will send advance warning. You may need to reconnect Xero when you subscribe again.

7. Your data and privacy

You retain ownership of your data. We use it to provide, maintain and secure Get Amongst, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disconnecting Xero stops future access to that organisation’s data. It does not automatically delete all information already held. Our Privacy Policy explains retention and deletion, including records needed for billing and preventing repeat trials.

8. Availability and responsible use

We will use reasonable care and skill in providing Get Amongst. Availability also depends on Xero, Stripe and other service providers, and we cannot promise uninterrupted access or email delivery.

You must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access or interfere with its operation.

We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to address non-payment, a material breach of these terms, security risks or legal requirements. Where practicable, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to resolve it.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate or incomplete source data, your failure to check or meet tax obligations, or events outside our reasonable control. These exclusions do not excuse our own failure to use reasonable care and skill.

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service.

10. Changes

We may update these terms or our pricing. We will give at least 30 days’ notice of price increases or changes that materially disadvantage you, unless a shorter period is necessary for legal or security reasons.

Price increases will apply from a renewal date after the notice period. You can cancel before they take effect.

11. Contact and governing law

For support, billing questions or complaints, contact hello@getamongst.com.

These terms are governed by New Zealand law. If a dispute arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it.
